Smart Light Bulb Installation Guide

- Carefully open the packaging and remove the smart light bulbs.

- Ensure you have all the necessary components: smart bulbs, user manual, and any additional accessories.



Step 2: Turn Off the Power

- Before you begin, turn off the power to the light fixture where you will install the smart bulb.

- This can be done by switching off the wall switch or turning off the circuit breaker.


Step 3: Remove the Existing Bulb

- Carefully remove the existing light bulb from the socket by turning it counterclockwise.

- Dispose of or store the old bulb properly.


Step 4: Install the Ghome Smart Light Bulb

- Screw the Ghome Smart Light Bulb into the socket by turning it clockwise until it is securely in place.

- Ensure the bulb is tightly screwed in but avoid over-tightening.


Step 5: Turn On the Power

- Turn the power back on by switching the wall switch or flipping the circuit breaker.

- The smart bulb should light up, indicating it is ready for setup.


Step 6: Download the Gosund App

- Download the Gosund app on your smartphone or tablet from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

- Open the app and create an account or log in if you already have one.





Step 7: Connect the Smart Bulb to the App
 Add the smart bulb through to your wifi through the app.

- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device.

- Typically, you must select the type of device (light bulb) and enter your Wi-Fi network details.

- Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as smart bulbs often do not support 5 GHz networks.


Step 8: Pair the Smart Bulb
 Select the light you’re using in the app.

- The app will guide you through the pairing process. This usually involves resetting the bulb by turning it on and off three times until it blinks rapidly.

- Once the bulb blinks, confirm in the app and wait for the pairing to complete.

- After pairing, you can name your smart bulb and assign it to a room or group.

- Use the app to adjust brightness, color, and schedule settings to your preference.

- If you use voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, link your Ghome account to the respective app.

- Follow the instructions to enable voice control, allowing you to control the smart bulb with voice commands.


Troubleshooting Tips:

- If the bulb does not turn on, double-check that the power is on and the bulb is properly screwed in.

- If pairing fails, ensure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network and try resetting the bulb again.

- Refer to the user manual for additional troubleshooting steps or contact Ghome customer support for assistance.
